Any Year 1oz Mexican Silver Onza/Libertad

The Mexican Libertad design has changed over the years. Some investors refer to this Mexican silver coin as the Mexican Onza while others call it the Mexican Libertad. They are one in the same coin.  The Lilbertad silver bullion coin is a modern bullion coin first issued in 1982 and is being minted each year.  The Onza silver bullion coin was first issued in 1949, then reissued 1978-1980.  

Both of these beautiful silver coins are 1 troy ounce in weight and are 99.9% pure silver.

The Mexican Libertad 1 oz silver coins was one of the only silver bullion coins available beginning in 1982 so there is a large population of older coins sitting in bullion investor’s hands.
